Great bagel place! Got the bagel & lox sandwich - so good! Generous toppings & wrapped so it won't fall apart! Fun music, seating for 4 or 5 tables, & Steven (sp.?), the owner, who made us laugh and told us a few fun stories. And don't forget the fresh-squeezed OJ - yum! A perfect breakfast in Manhattan. We'll be back for sure!

I've only been to NY 3 times. I feel lucky to have walked into BB before our tour of the Basilica around the corner. I loved every minute of it! The energy is great. I loved the smiles and men working to make sure my order was put together just right. We both had a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese, although, the ratio would have me putting those items in reverse order. Amazing!! The cream cheese was about an inch thick. Lovely!! It was steadily busy and the menu offered a lot of options. If I lived in the area it would be a regular stop for me. The breakfast sandwiches looked delicious.
I had to rush back to the hotel for a meeting and needed a quick bite to go alongside my latte. I walked into Bagel Boss for my basic bagel order; a rainbow bagel with plain cream cheese. The elder gentleman who took my order was super sweet. In the time we finished our chat, my bagel was ready to go. It doesn't get any better than a $4.95 bagel. Yummm.
